Vocal coaching
Zoë has been vocal teaching privatley since completing her Honours degree in 2007. Being classically trained herself, this repetoir is her prefered teaching method however she does also coach students through musical theatre and commercial singing.
She is a qualified and experienced teacher, suitable to nurture students at beginner to intermediate level. Whether your interested in a singing career or just simply love to sing as a hobbie, no previous experience is nessesary. Lessons are suitable for children aged 7 onwards and there is no upper age limit.
Lessons are all unique due to each persons style and ability, but all contain various exercises to improve technique and performace skills. Students can choose to take part in ABRSM vocal exams or London College Musical Theatre exams, however this is optional and there will be no pressure to do so.
Zoë is also happy to help with basic music theory to make reading music easier for her pupils.
Zoë holds a current CRB check for working with young people. She is renowned for her bubbly, outgoing personality and believes having as much fun as possible is the most important factor for enjoyment and achievements in her lessons.

Each pupil is an individual and thats why I don't compare their development with anyone else except themselves. Someone may not be the greatest singer in the world but if they have improved in themselves and worked as hard as they can, that is the best achievement a teacher could ask for!"
Piano Coaching
Zoë has also recently started Piano teaching at her home in Troed-y-rhiw. Lessons are aimed for beginners (grades 1-3) and concentrates on both performance and theory.
All Piano lessons are for half an hour and the lesson is split into Music theory, scales and arpeggios and Piano pieces.
It is encouraged for each pupil to sit Piano exams and Zoë is very supportive of this process. Like the vocal coaching however, Zoë insists that exams are optional and there is no pressure to do so.
Prices
Zoë's fees for vocal coaching are £10 per half hour piano session, vocal session (under 12's) and £20 per hours vocal session.
